An introductory trailer for upcoming Genshin Impact character Eula suggests a very warm relationship with the fire-wielding warrior Amber.
A new trailer for Genshin Impact gives gamers a preview of the game’s next upcoming character, the dancer Eula. Genshin Impact, developed and published by miHoYo, is an open-world action role-playing game set in the fictional world of Teyvat. While it first launched in September 2020, miHoYo continues to support the game with frequent updates and seasonal events.
Genshin Impact receives continuous support from miHoYo, ensuring that players always have something new to discover or acquire when they log into the game. The game’s newest playable character, the powerful ice-wielding warrior Eula, is expected to release on May 18. Eula is set to be a five-star character, the highest tier available in the game, and so she is expected to be very popular upon release. However, the game’s Wish system forces players to rely on a bit of luck in order to get a chance at acquiring the stylish dancer. Eula’s signature weapon, the massive five-star claymore Song of Broken Pines, will also be available to acquire through its own Wish.
A new character demonstration trailer, titled “Eula: Flickering Candlelight” and posted to the official Genshin Impact YouTube channel, shows off Eula’s combat while she performs a graceful dance routine. The character demo’s ending reveals that Amber, the kind and cheerful Pyro character acquired in the game’s prologue, had been watching the entire alluring performance. Amber denies spying on Eula, explaining that she was simply making sure the unreleased character wasn’t “in trouble.” Eula quips that she isn’t in trouble “yet,” before asking the surprised Amber to dance with her.
With the release of Eula and the Song of Broken Pines quickly approaching, Genshin Impact fans continue to look ahead toward the game’s future. The next major update, Version 1.6, has not yet been officially revealed by developer miHoYo. However, the game’s beta test has led to certain information about Version 1.6 leaking. The update is expected to include the long-awaited Inazuma region, the inclusion of boat travel, and new playable characters such as Kazuha and Yoimiya.
The character demo trailer for Eula does a fantastic job of introducing the character’s abilities and personality to the game’s fanbase. The talented dancer brings beauty and grace to the battlefield, and a relationship with the fire-wielding Amber fits perfectly for the Cryo warrior. While the end of the trailer might suggest a more-than-friendly connection between the two playable characters, time will tell whether miHoYo decides to combine fire and ice.
