In season 9, one of the moments that had fans of The Voice swooning was when Blake Shelton decided to put on a hat similar to Pharrell Williams’, and Gwen made sure to give her seal of approval to Blake’s new look. She said that Blake looked “super cute” in his new look. This made the rest of the panel laugh. The flirting didn’t stop there, as she continued to call him “a funny cowboy” in a later audition.

In season 7, when a contestant chose to be coached by Blake instead of Gwen (who reportedly wants a prenup), the decision threw Gwen for a loop. She was openly upset about the outcome. Blake cheered her up by giving her a hug and doing a little dance for her. In the same season, there was another contestant that they were fighting over. In one of the outtakes for The Voice season 16, there is footage of Gwen and Blake backstage, being touchy-feely and looking happy. Gwen was quick to respond with, “Don’t mess with my boyfriend!”
