RE Village’s Lady Dimitrescu Bloodborne Mod Even Features Her Monster Form

A modder recently pit Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu against Bloodborne’s Lady Maria in a chilling battle of the bosses mod.

The gruesome worlds of Bloodborne and Resident Evil Village have collided thanks to a mod that pits Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower against the formidable Lady Dimitrescu. Fans began toying with mods even before Capcom released the latest Resident Evil entry. One mod let Barney the Dinosaur loose in Castle Dimitrescu, for example, while another very creepily transformed the Countess into Thomas the Tank Engine.

Thus, it was only a matter of time before Bloodborne’s and RE Village’s respective worlds met in a Victorian-inspired clash. Bloodborne fans are especially enjoying the comparisons that have cropped up over the last several weeks, which only serve to underscore the unceasing demand for another adventure through the streets of Yharnham. At this point, though, FromSoftware faithful would settle for a 60fps patch on PlayStation 5, a seemingly simple boost that could reliably bring the beloved game up to more modern standards. Unofficial Bloodborne patches aside, players longing for more action beneath the Blood Moon will have to look elsewhere for the time being.

Modder and YouTuber Garden of Eyes “used PS4 modding tools and programs” to bring Lady Dimitrescu’s model to life in Bloodborne. The mod provides the Countess with a set of moves befitting her character, alongside “some surprises” whenever her health dips too low. All of this and more is on display in an epic boss battle that sees Bloodborne’s Lady Maria duke it out on the rooftops of Yharnam with the new Resident Evil villain. The best part is arguably Lady Dimitrescu’s transformation into her monster form near the end of the battle.

This Bloodborne x Resident Evil Village mod counts among the best fan-made RE Village projects to date. Lady Dimitrescu seems right at home, in her element even as she slashes and swipes with her Freddy Krueger-esque finger knives and dodges attacks with quick vanishing moves.

The villain’s evolving into her more monstrous version as her health drops dangerously low seems a moment spawned from the mind of Hidetaka Miyazaki himself. Needless to say, Lady Dimitrescu could easily pass for a Bloodborne boss character, one that would most definitely rank among the most formidable alongside the likes of the Cleric Beast, Father Gascoigne, and Lady Maria.
