The cast of HBO Max’s superhero drama Titans has revealed in a new video that shooting is currently underway on season 3 of the series and will debut on the streaming platform this August. Inspired by the DC Comics superhero team Teen Titans, the series centers on the titular group years after they disbanded but find they must come back together to battle a variety of threats, including the demonic Tigron and assassin Deathstroke. The ensemble cast for the series includes Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Curran Walters, Alan Ritchson, Conor Leslie, and Minka Kelly.

Created by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti and showrun by Greg Walker, the series was first announced to be in development in 2014 for TNT until the pilot wasn’t picked up. Warner Bros. Television later revived the project in 2017 for its new streaming service DC Universe, where it debuted to strong reviews from critics and audiences alike. After another well-reviewed season 2, it was announced the series would be moving to HBO Max for season 3 after DC Universe shifted towards acting solely as a digital comics subscription service.
